LPHS Students leave their mark on the Community year after year, at our board meeting this past Tuesday Mr Estok read a letter to us all, received from a local resident in response to the annual traditional leaf raking that the graduating class undertake to assist and support seniors. Here is that letter sent to the Mayor of Pte Claire.

Dear Sirs,

We are very gratified as Pointe-Claire seniors that year after year Lindsay Place High School students in conjunction with Aid for Seniors program staff continue to provide us with outstanding help to ensure our peace of mind and that we as seniors can remain in our homes.

I must commend the grade 11 students: Olivia Collins, Rishika Shah, Sejal Patel, Olivia Stars, Michelle Shultz, Daphne Montes-Vamvas, Oliver Clonis, Emilie Sauve for their unique enthusiasm in ensuring all leaves were picked up quickly!

It leaves no doubt that these grade 11 graduates soon to be Had an opportunity to connect with seniors and they did so with amazing enthusiasm and respect and lots of energy!

Over the years schools such as Lindsay Place High school and the City of Pointe-Claire has ensured that seniors receive aid to remain in their homes as long as possible. Mayor Belvedere I congratulate you as you begin to lead Pointe-Claire citizens as our Mayor.

Thank you to Director/Principal Mr. David Estok, organizer and Spiritual Leader Ms Sue Simatos and teacher Ms Catherine Hogan for guiding the above students to being a distinguished group of grade 11 students that will become some of our future leaders!

I would like to take the opportunity to thank Ms Kelly Thorstad-Cullen and Ms Cynthia Homan councillors that always ensure that whatever needs to get done does Merci!

It is crucial Mayor Belvedere that monies continue to be injected in Community Support and Aid do Seniors, all Pointe-Claire seniors are counting on you support. Pointe-Claire has a lot to celebrate, once again Thank you Lindsay Place grade 11 grads they are all high achievers!

Just finished gift wrapping at Fairview on behalf of the Lakeshore Hospital. Many thanks to the kids from Lindsay Place, their moms and our friends. We were swamped from the begining to the end and raised $1375.00 for the LGH. 😴 ... See MoreSee Less
